In May 2011, we are going to spend three weeks cycling a tandem over 1000 miles, across the length of Britain, stopping off on the way to climb the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales. In doing so we hope to raise £10,000 for Maggie's Centre Oxford.
Jane Bates (my Mum) found great support from Maggie's Oxford whilst battling Cancer. Sadly, she passed away in August 2009. Mum believed that Maggie's centre's were a fantastic resource that everyone should have access to. For this reason we plan to cycle in memory of her, for Maggies.
